We named these new jeans from Judy Blue Everyday Essential because that’s exactly what they are! You NEED these in your denim rotation and you might want to get two pairs! Mid rise + non distressed + two percent spandex is a combination we have never had before and every woman needs these!
The dark wash is slimming and dreamy and these jeans are almost completely non distressed— there are a few spots of minimal distressing with zero holes and no skin exposed! These jeans are work to weekend and everywhere in between appropriate! You can easily dress these up with a sweater and booties or down with your favorite hoodie and sneakers!
These jeans are insanely stretchy, babes! They have 2% spandex and the perfect amount of cotton to make them so soft that you will never want to take them off!

SIZING INFORMATION— read me before purchasing! ;)
First things first— If you are new to boutique women’s odd denim sizing, you are going to take your highest even size in a store and subtract 1 (note, this is NOT sizing down, this is your true MOCO denim size).
For example, if you are a 10 in a store, your true MOCO denim size is a 9. If you are a 12 in a store, your true size is an 11. If you can wear two even sizes depending on the store, your true size is in the middle. For example, if you are sometimes a 14 and sometimes a 12, your true size is a 13.
Curvy (14w-24w): Your true MOCO denim size is the even size below your store size. For example, if you are an 18w in a store, your true MOCO denim size is a 16w.
From here, you’re going to follow our specific sizing advice for each pair of denim.
Specific sizing advice for this pair of denim:
Sizes 1-15: Size down one size from your true MOCO denim size described above. For example, if you are a 12 in a store, your true size is an 11, and in these you would get a 9. All of our fit models, regardless of body type, could size down 1 size.
Sizes 14w-24w: Size down one size from your true MOCO denim size, unless you carry your weight in your stomach, then stay true to size. If you carry your weight in your bottom or thighs, you can size down one size! For example, if you are a 20w in a store, your true MOCO denim size is an 18w and you would get a 16w in these jeans if you don't carry weight in your stomach. If you carry weight in your stomach, you would stay true to your MOCO denim size in an 18w in this example.
Please note that 14w is a larger size than 15 and is cut to fit a curvier body.

Morgan is a 14 regular in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 13. In these, she wears an 11 (sized down one size).
Ashley (short hair) is a 12 in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 11. In these, she prefers a 9 (sized down one size).
Emily (medium length blonde hair) is a 2 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 1. In these, she is wearing a 0 (sized down one size).
Jaz is a 14 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 13, in these she is wearing a 11 (sized down one size).
Lindsay (curvy model pictured) wears a 22w in department stores. Her true MOCO denim size is a 20w and in these she wears a 20W (true to size).
One of our plus size models of our fit team wears an 18w in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 16w. In these, she prefers to stay true to size in a 16w.
Another one of our plus size models of our fit team wears a 16w in department stores and her true size is a 14w in MOCO denim and she preferred to stay true to size in a 14w.

We know buying denim online can be scary, but we have an entire team of fit models (all shapes and sizes) who try on all of our denim before we launch it and give sizing recommendations. We have less than a 1% return rate on denim. You will often read or hear us reference how to compute your denim size off of your true MOCO Denim Size.
Regular MOCO Denim Sizing:
Your true MOCO denim size can be computed like this: Take your even size in a department store and size down to the next odd size. This is your true size. For example, Morgan is a 14 regular in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 13. Ashley is a 12 in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is an 11. Nicole is a 10 in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 9.
Plus MOCO Denim Sizing:
Your true MOCO denim size can be computed by taking your even size in a department store and going down to the next size. That is your true MOCO denim size. For example, Kasey is a 16w in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 14w. If you are a 20w in department stores, your true MOCO denim size is an 18w. If you are in between sizes (meaning you can wear two sizes in department stores depending on the brand), go with your smaller size to be your true MOCO denim size.
TRUST US!
If we tell you to stay true to size, stay with your true MOCO denim size. If we tell you to size down one size, size down one from you true MOCO denim size. For example, if we advise to size down one, Morgan gets an 11, Ashley gets a 9, Nicole gets a 7, Kasey gets a 14w. We might tell you to size down two sizes (we know that’s scary, please trust us!) or size up a size. Sizing up a size would mean that if your true size is an 11, you would get a 13.
