We like to think of ourselves as straight shooters when it comes to our love for denim and these new straight leg jeans from Risen are no exception!
Nothing makes our hearts happier than when the hottest trends meet and exceed the MOCO comfort test! These straight leg jeans are trending EVERYWHERE, babes! They are all of our newsfeeds of all social media platforms being worn by celebrities, fashion bloggers, and more! We have steered away from this trend until now because these jeans are usually 100% cotton (aka stiff and not stretchy). We are seriously giddy that Risen released a stretchy version of these trendy jeans and they are a must have!
These medium wash jeans are *almost completely non distressed! They feature some epic graining that elongates your legs and makes you stand tall with bold confidence! The frayed hem is one of our favorite details of these jeans!
These jeans can be dressed up or down with sneakers and a hoodie, wedges and a tank or sweater, or worn casually with sandals and a top! They can be worn in every season, too!
These jeans feature 2% spandex, which means they have the MOCO denim stretch that you know and love in the waist and thighs!

SIZING INFORMATION:
Sizing (1-15): Our entire fit team of models preferred the fit of their true MOCO denim sizing for these jeans.
Plus Sizing (14w-20w): Our plus size models all followed the following size chart with accuracy according to their true MOCO denim size:
1XL= 14W and 16W
2XL= 18W
3XL= 20W
How to compute your true MOCO Denim size: For sizes 1-15, take your even size and size down to the next odd size. For example, if you are a 12, your true MOCO denim size is an 11.
For plus (sizes 14w-24w), take your size in a department store and go down to the next size. For example, if your size in another store is an 18w, your true size would be a 16w.
Models Preferred Sizing:
Morgan is a 14 regular in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 13. In these, she wears an 13 (true to size).
Ashley (short hair) is a 12 in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 11. In these, she wears an 11 (true to size).
Emily (medium length blonde hair) is a 2 in stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 1. In these, she is wearing a 1 (true to size).
Rachel (dark brown hair) is a 6 in stores and her true size is a 5, in these, she is wearing a 5 (true to size).
Our plus size fit model wears an 18w in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 16w. In these, she prefers the 1XL (true MOCO denim size).
Our plus size fit model wears a 16w in department stores and carries weight in her stomach. Her true size is a 14w in MOCO denim and she preferred the fit of the 1XL (true MOCO denim size).
A plus size model from our fit team wears a 22w in stores and a 20w is her true size in MOCO denim. She carries weight in her stomach and she preferred the fit of the 3XL in these jeans (true MOCO denim size).

We know buying denim online can be scary, but we have an entire team of fit models (all shapes and sizes) who try on all of our denim before we launch it and give sizing recommendations. We have less than a 1% return rate on denim. You will often read or hear us reference how to compute your denim size off of your true MOCO Denim Size.
Regular MOCO Denim Sizing:
Your true MOCO denim size can be computed like this: Take your even size in a department store and size down to the next odd size. This is your true size. For example, Morgan is a 14 regular in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 13. Ashley is a 12 in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is an 11. Nicole is a 10 in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 9.
Plus MOCO Denim Sizing:
Your true MOCO denim size can be computed by taking your even size in a department store and going down to the next size. That is your true MOCO denim size. For example, Kasey is a 16w in department stores and her true MOCO denim size is a 14w. If you are a 20w in department stores, your true MOCO denim size is an 18w. If you are in between sizes (meaning you can wear two sizes in department stores depending on the brand), go with your smaller size to be your true MOCO denim size.
TRUST US!
If we tell you to stay true to size, stay with your true MOCO denim size. If we tell you to size down one size, size down one from you true MOCO denim size. For example, if we advise to size down one, Morgan gets an 11, Ashley gets a 9, Nicole gets a 7, Kasey gets a 14w. We might tell you to size down two sizes (we know that’s scary, please trust us!) or size up a size. Sizing up a size would mean that if your true size is an 11, you would get a 13.
